Verona: the magic city of love

City of love, location of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedy, Romeo & Juliet, Verona offers a lot of places of interest to be discovered. Among the famous monuments there are Juliet’s house and the marvellous Roman Amphitheater, which in summertime hosts several concerts and one of the most important Italian opera festival.

The Roman Theater, location of summer concerts and events, also is worth a visit like Pietra Bridge, San Pietro Castle, the Church of San Zeno, Castelvecchio and the Arche Scaligere.

Visiting Veneto

Verona is situated in a very strategic position: in the West, there is the Garda Lake, easily reachable by car, bus, or train, in less than 30 minutes. For kids, in this area (Peschiera del Garda) there is Italy’s biggest amusement park, Gardaland, open the whole year.

In the North, there are different valleys, among which the Valpolicella, exclusive producer of Amarone, Valpolicella Ripasso and Valpolicella Superiore DOCG. In the East, there is the production of Soave DOCG.

Verona is just one hour away by train from Venice, one of the most charming cities in the world.
